Attention: This article is only relevant if you are using AccountRight 2022.4 or Newer
If an error is returned when completing a request to the local API http://localhost:8080/accountright/ we can view the local log file to find out more details about this request. Often we will use the log files when a 500 error is returned.
Location of log files for LocalHost:
AccountRight Server Edition:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\AccountRightServerEdition\app-2022.XX\API\logs
AccountRight PC edition:
C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Local\Programs\MYOB\AccountRight\app-2022.XX\AddonConnector\logs
To locate the error within the log search you can do a quick search Ctrl + F = ResponseCode=500
