A bug was identified in the 2020.1 desktop API that prevents it from connecting with local 2019.4 company files only. It can still connect successfully with versions prior to 2019.4.
- Upgrade the 2019.4 files to 2020.1 (recommended solution).
- Store the 2019.4 files online to avoid local API connection.
It is very unlikely this will be resolved in any future release. Please consider one of the workarounds above. Since this issue could also impact your application users who integrate with AccountRight suite, please advise either workaround in such cases.
